The Nashville Sounds and the Memphis Redbirds play the fifth of a six-game series tonight at First Horizon Park. Nashville has won the first four games in the set, including an 8–2 decision last night. Right-hander Alec Bettinger starts for the Sounds against right-hander T.J. Zeuch for the Redbirds.

Tonight at the Park

  • Gates open at 6:00 p.m.
  • The second to last Country Legend Wind-Up Racer giveaway to the first 1,000 fans, presented by First Horizon.

From The Notes

  • Make it Double Digits: Infielder/Outfielder Jamie Westbrook clubbed his 10th home run of the season in last night’s 8–2 win and became the fourth Sounds player to have double-digit home runs in 2021. Westbrook joined Weston Wilson (16), Zach Green (15) and Tim Lopes (11).
  • Super Mario: Catcher Mario Feliciano continues to experience a turnaround at the plate. In five games in the month of September, Feliciano is hitting .412 (7-for-17) with 1 double and 5 RBI. Prior to September the backstop was hitting just .149 (10-for-67) in 21 games.
  • Seven Straight at Home: Last night’s win over Memphis was Nashville’s seventh consecutive win at First Horizon Park, their longest home winning streak of the season. The seven-game home winning streak is the longest by a Sounds club since the 2018 team won 11 straight games at First Horizon Park from July 21-August 14. The 11-game streak in 2018 spanned parts of three different homestands.
