The Nashville Sounds and the Memphis Redbirds play the fourth of a six-game series at First Horizon Park. Nashville has won the first three games in the set, including a 5–0 win last night. Left-hander Ethan Small starts for Nashville against left-hander Connor Thomas for Memphis.

  • Gates open at 6:00 p.m.
  • The Memphis Grizzlies entertainment team members visit First Horizon Park for fun, prize packages and baseball. A special guest appearance by radio play-by-play announcer Eric Hasseltine.

  • Come One, Come All: The 2021 season attendance at First Horizon Park is expected to surpass 400,000 tonight. The Sounds continue to lead Minor League Baseball in total attendance with 395,315 and per-game attendance with 6,935 fans per game. It will mark the sixth consecutive season the total attendance will be over 400,000 at First Horizon Park.
  • Welcome Back, Tyrone Taylor: Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Tyrone Taylor has joined the Sounds on a Major League rehab assignment. He was placed on Milwaukee’s 10-day injured list on August 21 with a right oblique strain. Taylor played in four games with Nashville earlier in the season and made an immediate impact. He hit .533 (8-for-15) with 7 runs, 2 doubles, 3 home runs, 8 RBI and 4 walks and garnered Triple-A East League Player of the Week from May 24–30.
  • Six Straight at Home: Last night’s win over Memphis was Nashville’s sixth consecutive win at First Horizon Park, tying their longest home winning streak of the season. The Sounds also won six straight at home when they swept the Gwinnett Stripers in a six-game series May 18–23.
